Stunning and Beautiful Antique French Wall clock.

A real Antique, Circa 1880

French Chiming movement by Marti.

This is a Rare and Unusual Clock.

It is made from Hand Carved Oak, with an Oak centre dial again Hand Carved.

The dial has Enameled Cartouches for the numbers surrounded by Brass.

The case front has been cleaned as much as is possible, this was done due to the amount of dirt, grime and other things that had accumulated over the many years of neglect. I have cleaned it as much as possible to bring out its natural beauty.

The carving is in good order with no damage that I can see.

There is no worm damage as far as I can see, probably due to it being in the UK most of its life.

The movement as can be seen from the pictures has been stripped and cleaned and new mainsprings fitted.

It chimes the hours and half hour on a coiled gong.
