French Repeater Suburban Wallclock from the 1930’s.

This clock strikes the hours and a minute later repeats the hour strike.

This clock has no carving to the case as was the wont of the French Suburbanites who would have had this clock in their homes.

It strikes the hours and half hour on a  a single long gong rod.

As can be seen the lower glass is decorated and the octagonal chrome bob can be seen through it.

This is a clock made by the renowned French company of Morbier.
